MTV has cancelled Sweet/Vicious after one season, RenewCancelTV has confirmed.
Despite critical praise, the network has decided the vigilante comedy-drama’s ratings weren’t good enough to warrant a Season 2 renewal.
The cancellation has left series creator Jennifer Kaytin Robinson beyond “devastated”, though she vows to find a new home to “continue the Sweet/Vicious journey” into Season 2:
It is with a heavy heart that I write this note to the AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL #SweetVicious Fans. We all love you so much. pic.twitter.com/wrx7OZ6GGc

Can Sweet/Vicious really find life at a new network or outlet such as Netflix/Hulu? If it happens, you’ll find out here first: stay tuned…
Also recently cancelled: NBC’s Powerless.
RIP.

I’m very upset that sweetvicious was cancelled! Here was a show making people aware of the horrible things that women go through being raped, feeling its their fault , ashamed but of course men don’t want these things addresses including judges letting rapists go with basically no sentence either because rich or just that men can get away with anything they do because its allowed socially!! sickening
