Supergirl got off to a flying start in the UK, becoming Sky 1’s highest-rated series launch in almost three years, according to consolidated ratings, Digital Spy reports:
The US show, which had an overnight audience of 680,000 viewers for its first episode, added another million to bring its consolidated total to 1.64 million.
Not since March 2013 – when JJ Abrams’s Revolution attracted 2.15 million – has a launch managed such numbers on the channel.
CBS has yet to cancel or renew Supergirl for Season 2 in the US, but will have taken note of the show’s overseas performance. Stay tuned…
