Treasure Quest: Snake Island Cancelled Or Renewed For Season 2? Is There Treasure Quest: Snake Island Season 2? When Will Snake Island Season 2 Episode 1 Be Released?
TREASURE QUEST SNAKE ISLAND CANCELLED OR RENEWED?
Treasure Quest: Snake Island premiered July 17.
Series Description: Hidden somewhere off the south eastern coast of Brazil, could lie hundreds of millions of dollars-worth of lost Incan gold. For 400 years, many have searched, fought and died looking for this elusive bounty. But all have failed to hold onto it. Treasure Quest: Snake Island will take viewers along an epic journey with an elite team of treasure hunters who have a new theory on where the treasure lies – a remote spot home to 1,000s of deadly vipers.
In 1524, a horde of Incan gold – known as the “Treasure of the Trinity” – was stolen. For 500 years, Jesuits priests, privateers such as Thomas Cavendish and mathematician Paul Thiry have all searched the coast of Brazil for this legendary bounty, but in all that time, no one has cracked the code as to where the treasure might have been hidden… until now. Can’t believe that it took me until the LAST episode of Treasure Quest to find out the name of the show, Snake Island, had actually been changed! Though it comes across as being relatively UNbelievable that these people seem to find SO MANY clues, in a relatively short time, the show is sort of fun to watch. WHICH, undoubtedly would be a BIG reason for ‘whoever’ to cancel this series! Also seems that, for the most part, the various series being shown (having been shown) have a great tendency to point to Oak Island as THE place to find SOME TYPE of treasure! Guess we’ll have to wait until next year to see how that goes! WHO decides for how brief a time each of these shows will be shown in a given season? In my opinion, one gets tired of waiting 9-12 months for a program to return. Maybe that’s just me, but I feel the LONGEST time one should have between airings should be somewhat closer. Would LOVE TO SEE Curse of Oak Island show twice annually. And, Vikings, though on A&E(?), would be awesome if shown 6mos in a year! What is the deal? Certainly there must be a significant audience for certain shows/series/programs to keep them afloat for longer than these OH SO BRIEF time slots?!
