The Mindy Project Cancelled By Fox After Three Seasons, Eyes 2-Season Hulu Pick-up

Fox has cancelled The Mindy Project after three seasons.

The network has opted not to move forward with a fourth season of the low-rated Mindy Kaling comedy series, although it could be saved by Hulu, which is said to being eyeing a two season pick-up, per Deadline:

I hear the streaming service is in talks with Mindy Project producer Universal TV on a two-season pickup for the series created by and starring Mindy Kaling. I hear that Fox has informed the Mindy Project team that it would not be picking up a fourth season though the network would not confirm that. Hulu and Uni TV had no comment.

Stay tuned to see whether Mindy‘s visit to the cancellation graveyard is a short stop on the way to salvation, or permanent.
