FX has cancelled The Comedians after only one season.
Taking to Twitter, showrunner Ben Wexler announced that there wont be a second season of The Comedians:
The Comedians is cancelled at FX. I could not be more proud of the work we all did.

I could smell that cancellation coming. The show was too damn sharp and smart to capture the prole masses. I shall miss it.
