The Alienist Season 2? TNT has yet to cancel or renew the serial killer period drama, but the cast would “love to come back,” per THR:
This was a limited series, but there’s another book in Carr’s series. Has there been discussion about another season? Would you all come back to do it again?
BRUHL I would love to come back.
EVANS We all got on very well, and I think it was a very rewarding experience for all of us as actors. We’re very proud of what we’ve created. It was a limited series, and we’ve done the whole book, but if asked to go back, I think we’d all quite happily say yes.

Woud you watch The Alienist Season 2, or are would you be happy if the first season finale became the series ender?

I would love to see it come back for another season. Season 1 was amazing. Having read the book many years ago when it was first published, I always wondered why they never made this fabulous story into a movie and yearned for it all these years. When I found out that it was going to be a limited series, I literally jumped up and down, and it totally lived up to my expectations. The recreation of the period was amazing and the acting, down to the smallest character parts, were top notch. Please TNT, bring this series back!

I would definitely watch a second season. I was totally hooked on the first season. Please bring it back. The actors were terrific!

I would love to see this show for many seasons to come not just a second one. I know there are only two books that were written about The Alienist but surely talented writers if not Caleb Carr could create new plots for of us to continue watching. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

limited series does NOT have to mean one freaking season … had no idea it would be that limited PLEASE extend THE ALIENIST for as long as possible … I LOVE THIS SHOW AND WOULD CRY IF THIS WAS IT
