The Terror premieres March 26 on AMC with a 10-episode first season, but don’t expect Season 2 to be a continuation.
The series creators have reiterated that, in success, the second second of the horror series will follow a different story and characters.
As such, Season 1 and future seasons will be complete close-ended stories, per the show’s serial anthology format.
Now up at #TCA18, #TheTerror, the first anthology series from @AMC_TV. (So, if S2, different story/characters.) @CTAM

The story of #TheTerror will last 10-episodes. It's a beginning, middle, and end. There probably won't be a season 2 unless it's a different story entirely. #TCA18

If you've read #TheTerror, you'll still be surprised by the series because some changes have been made for many of the characters. #AMC #TCA18

Thank goodness. @TheTerrorAMC is a limited series, a 10-hour complete story based on the novel, not an ongoing series.. #TCA18
