MTV has cancelled Teen Wolf with the previously-announced sixth season to be the show’s last.
The supernatural drama returns November 2016 to mount its 20-episode sixth and final season run, concluding with its landmark 100th episode in 2017.
Showrunner and executive producer Jeff Davis said:
“Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined. We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”
Prior to today’s announcement, Davis and MTV had left the door open for the possibility of Season 7 – however, that door has now closed as the cancellation reaper finally gets its prey.

I don’t want it to be cancelled !!! I love that show !!! I love the story lines and the characters ! I don’t understand why it’s always the really good shows that get cancelled but the dorky shows don’t ! They should fight for a season 7 , eveñ if they have to shop it to another network. I’m sure The CW network would probably pick it up because they have a lot of other supernatural type shows in their lineup already . I’m soo tired of these networks giving up on our favorite shows every year and keeping these goofy ass shows instead. I hope they can figure something out !

I love that show. Season 6 was great but it shouldn’t end there.
