New York, December 19, 2016 – Seeso’s critically acclaimed romcom “TAKE MY WIFE,” starring comedians and real-life, same-sex married couple Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher, will return for season two in 2017. The half-hour, single-camera original series follows the young lesbian couple as elements of their domestic life intersect with the underground standup showcase they co-host in Los Angeles. “Take My Wife” is Executive Produced by Cameron and Rhea, as well as Scott Aukerman and David Jargowsky for Comedy Bang! Bang! Productions.
Behind-the-scenes footage from season one, featuring Cameron and Rhea, also are available with each episode. Season one featured some of the best names in comedy and improv, including Maria Bamford, Jonah Ray, Kulap Vilaysack, James Adomian, Seth Morris, Paul F. Tompkins, Ron Funches , Janet Varney, Matt Braunger, Joe DeRosa, and Kurt Braunohler, among many others, with Zeke Nicholson and Laura Kightlinger as Series Regulars.
