As CBS has firmed up its midseason schedule and its programming needs, the network has ordered two episodes each of new drama series S.W.A.T. and sophomore comedy Kevin Can Wait. Both shows come from Sony Pictures TV Studios and are co-produced by CBS TV Studios.

S.W.A.T. was given a seven-episode extension last month, bringing its total to 20 episodes. The additional two-episode order takes S.W.A.T.‘s freshman season to a traditional full 22-episode pick-up, all but cementing its Season 2 renewal status, which will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Kevin Can Wait‘s second season has risen from 20 to 22 episodes, with the full-season order bringing it to the brink of a third season renewal.
Stay tuned as we await the official renewal announcements for

Larry says
Season one was much better than season two .I really liked the family as opposed to a bumbling security business
Susan Gould says
I really like Kevin and Leah working together again. They have good chemistry together. I like this relationship they have better than the king of queens.
Riv says
I watched both seasons, & to be honest I was really getting tired of the stupidness of the 2nd season & glad it’s finally over & would not miss it if it got cancelled.
Can’t wait to see Leah’s newest season/segments of her “scientology” show.
