Mr. Robot Renewed For Season 3 By USA!

As previously hinted, USA Network has renewed Mr. Robot for Season 3, slated to premiere summer 2017.

USA NETWORK’S EMMY(R) NOMINATED DRAMA “MR. ROBOT” RENEWED FOR THIRD SEASON

Golden Globe(R) and Peabody Award-Winning Series Hails from Universal Cable Productions

NEW YORK – August 16, 2016 – USA Network today announced a third season pickup of the original drama series MR. ROBOT. From Universal Cable Productions, the second season of the buzzy series, which was recently nominated for six Primetime Emmys, is currently airing all-new episodes Wednesdays at 10/9c. MR. ROBOT Season 3 is slated for 2017.

MR. ROBOT follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek, “The Pacific”), a cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their leader (Christian Slater, “Nymphomaniac”). Following the events of fsociety’s five/nine hack on multi-national company Evil Corp, the second season explores the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.
