CBS has renewed the Chuck Lorre hit comedy show Mom for a seventh and eighth season. The show stars Allison Janney, who has earned two Emmy awards for her role as Bonnie, and Anna Faris who plays her daughter Christy.
“We’re exceptionally proud to have Mom on our air; a high-quality, signature comedy with characters viewers love, that also brings strength and stability to our lineup,” Kelly Kahl, President of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement. “Under Chuck Lorre’s extraordinary leadership and with his outstanding writing and production team, we look forward to having Mom on CBS for many years to come.”

I totally agree with everything Erika said , I love Mom too , so many other good shows have been taken off , I was worried Mom might be 1 of them , soooo happy it was not 1 of them

Recently heard that season 8 will be the last of the Mom series. I am so saddened that this wonderful and funny series is ending. Although the character Anna Faris left the show the cast was still able to keep the show going with many laughs and situations. Is there anyway that this series can be saved. One of the best comedy sitcoms on the air. Very disappointed fan.
