The BBC has cancelled The Living and the Dead after one season/series. Per Digital Spy, the broadcaster has decided not to bring the supernatural series back for Season 2.
A BBC spokesman said:
“We are very proud of The Living and the Dead and would like to thank Ashley Pharoah and the fantastic cast and crew.
“However, in order to create room for new series and to keep increasing the range of drama on BBC One it won’t be returning.”
