CBS cancels Instinct.
The series will end after two seasons on CBS. The drama based on James Patterson’s Murder Games suffered from poor ratings last season.
The disheartening news for fans was shared by Michael Rauch on his Twitter:
I’m very sad to relay the news that @instinctcbs won’t be renewed for a 3rd season. We will double up this Sunday and our season/series finale will be Aug 25. I am at the stage now where I will maybe wait until a show has aired 3-6 years before I invest in it now. So many good/great shows cancelled after a 2-3 seasons.
The big 3/4 networks seem to operate like it is still pre internet and 500 channels. They will never ever get the ratings/numbers they used to get before competition.

I can’t believe you are cancelling another good show. Yet we keep renewing idiot shows like Big Brother, Naked & Afraid, Little People, Housewives of wherever and shows that really entertain the public you cancel. I hope all of these TV stations start going down the tubes because people who matter will stop watching TV all together. It’s getting to the point now I hate turning it on for that reason.

That just stinks! Just when there’s a good show on, you cancel it. I am getting sooo tired of enjoying a show and then it’s taken off. Instinct’s cast of characters was so good. You would get involved with the couples lives and can’t wait for the next week show. I myself am about ready to do away with the 3 local stations.

Network station needs to pick it up. Excellent acting and story lines. CBS has some really stupid shows that keep getting g renewed. I guess CBS thinks the viewers are morons.

There is nothing worth watching on CBS< NBC and ABC. When there is a great show like Instinct, it is cancelled cause it is not made for morons or imbeciles that watch Big Brother and the other worthless shows that crowd those networks.
Hopefully Netflex, Hulu or some non-network channel will see how good this show is and keep it going as the execs from the 3 networks spend their time in court trying not to go to prison for the demeaning way they behave.
Get it together CBS and continue Instinct!!!

I am so surprised about the show Instinct! What a great show with great actors! I lived for that show on Sunday nights on CBS. They keep stupid shows on and when a great mystery/crime shows comes on, the network cancels it! What a BIG disappointment!

ThT was a great Nd healthy show. I’m 81 Nd don’t enjoy all those so call tealy seroes. Whatever Re your head not everyone is young who at heart tv. Instinct was On my way! I enjoyed a lot. Rethink your decisions.
