HBO has cancelled Here and Now after one season. The cabler network has opted not to move forward with Season 2 of the Tim Robbins drama.
In a statement to Deadline, HBO said:
“After careful consideration we have decided not to move forward with a second season of Here and Now. We thank Alan for his dedication to innovative storytelling, and we look forward to his next endeavor.”
RIP.

Very sad that this show was not renewed. It was very interesting and touched on a lot of current issues. The cast was excellent and I looked forward to each episode. A poor decision by HBO.

I’m extremely disappointed that HBO has cancelled “Here and Now”. This is one of the few shows that my teenage daughter and myself would look forward to watching together each week.

I really liked this show. Sorry to see it leave. But it seems they never give shows a chance anymore..

I almost wish shows wouldn’t air unless there at least 2 seasons and the show somehow wraps up at end of second year and then if for some reason it comes back great. I have to say it makes me frustrated when you get into a show and then it leaves on this cliffhanger with no sense of where’s it going and with this show I can’t say I even know where it was going?!

I can’t say that I am going to miss this show. I just found the characters and situations just too weird and rather sad.

This is very disappointing to read. I subscribed to amazon prime just so I could watch all of season one. And I was waiting patiently for season 2. So you can imagine when i was searching for canceled series how I felt to read this. Here and Now was fresh, well written, and well acted. This is a huge loss.
