As we leaked a while ago, CBS has cancelled The Great Indoors after one season. Following not so great ratings, the network has officially decided not to move forward with Season 2.
About The Great Indoors:
Joel McHale stars in this insightful and timely comedy about a renowned adventure reporter who has spent his life exploring the edges of the earth. Now that he’s taken a desk job in the digital department of the magazine, he must adapt to the times and his new world. He’s struggling to grasp the lingo of online click-bait and listicles, but his real challenge is in understanding his staff of millenials who write about the great outdoors but never actually set foot outside.

Are you freaking kidding me? This is a GREAT show!!

Just learned of the cancellation. I was beginning to like the show because of Joel McHale’s character. His inability to relate to the fast pace of technology and how different “millennials” work on the job is totally relatable! Vise-versa for millennials on how us “oldies” don’t get it. It was charming to watch the entire group work together despite differences and get the work completed.

I liked this show, got a kick out of the kids and how today’s lives revolve around technology.

That’s insane. This was quirky fun times. Great classic generational gap premises not dealt with anywhere but exists everywhere. I am a life time techie and no one around me and my age have any clue about how anything works. I’m Joel only clued in like all the kids. This was a break so I could laugh at myself a bit.
