Dynasty‘s poor ratings are enough to see it cancelled, but its rich Netflix deal is enough to see it renewed for at least a second season. Which way will the pendulum ultimately swing?
While the series seems likely to be renewed, CW chief Mark Pedowitz admits to being “disappointed” by the show’s ratings, but apparently galvanized by its imminent creative changes, per Deadline:
“I’m disappointed in the ratings, I wanted it to do more, but I’m happy with with the production values that Josh, Steph and Sallie are doing. There are changes coming, I’m thrilled to have Nicollette, she will appear beginning with the 16th episode. I’m looking forward to Nicollette and Liz (Elizabeth Gillies who plays Fallon Carrington) really going at it as a mother-daughter situation, and I think that will add some juice to the show.”
What are your hopes for the future of Dynasty? Do you want it cancelled or renewed? Already plotting the show’s downfall for Season 3? Stay tuned…

Anything that gives me Grant Show I love and I think Elizabeth Gilies has really brought Fallon to life. Need more Dynasty just not a fan of Nathalie Kelley as Cristal or Rafael de la Fuente as Sam not the best choices.
