The forensics came back and it’s no good for Lincoln Rhyme.
Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector has been cancelled by NBC after just a single season. The drama series based on Jeffrey Deaver’s Bone Collector book series lasted just 10 episodes.
After the Perfect Harmony cancellation today, it leaves just three NBC shows on the renew/cancel bubble: Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Manifest and Indebted.

Can’t believe you would cancel this show. This is one of the best new serires you had. on this year… terrible ….
Kat says
Probably more about #metoo with how rude and condescending Rhyme was to his female protege and women in general. He was a real a-hole unlike Denzel in the movie. His hostility deserves little sympathy. Stopped watching after 3 episodes.
NME says
Good for you.
Susan says
lmao really?
Elsie M Leffel says
I agree with Bob, Get rid of the reality shows and leave this one and Deputy on!
Karen says
Tell me WHY!!! Cancelling “Perfect Harmony” has to do in Cancelling ” Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector”. I love Lincoln Rhyme and it was a good show. But why cancel one just because you canceled the other one.
You can cancel one of these shows Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist or Indebted and keep Lincoln Rhyme and Manifest.
Susan says
Manifest was renewed.
Brenda Williams says
Well guess I will boycott NBC also.
Mary Severance says
I can’t believe you are cancelling this show too. TV sucks & I will be boycotting NBC also. I’d like to know the reason for cancelling it. Does it have to do anything with Black Lives Matter. I means what the hell, they are cancelling Paw Patrol, Live PD & Cops. Deputy has been cancelled too. I guess they will put another friggin Reality show on again. I don’t know who is running the stations but you are all idiots.
linden s says
So sorry to see Bone Collector leave. One of the few shows I enjoyed.
Pat says
Way to go, NBC! Cancel another good show and keep the majority of the nonsense you already air. Television used to be about entertaining the audience. Now it’s only about advertising and ratings. I remember when stations believed in programming, scheduling and chances and would change a time slot or day or have the program be a lead-in to a popular show or a follow-up to the popular show. Now, if there isn’t a two trillion audience share on the first night, the show is doomed. Here’s a novel idea——try some of the “old” methods first before axing the show. You have insured that I no longer have any reason to tune into NBC. And I doubt I will watch any of your new programming this fall. I don’t have time to waste.

I can’t believe that NBC is canceling such a good show. This show was unique & I loved the characters.
What are they going to air in it’s place, another reality show or game show (Iam so tired of these kind of shows)??? I really miss great scripted shows like the Bone Collector. NBC used to air my favorite shows, but that is beginning to change. Sorry NBC!!!
