Discovery Networks International Renews ‘BODY BIZARRE,’ Featuring Extraordinary and Touching Stories of Individuals Living with Extremely Rare Conditions

(LONDON, United Kingdom) – Discovery Networks International today announced the fourth season of its hit series BODY BIZARRE, which features stories of individuals from around the world living with the most mysterious and rare medical diagnoses. The newest season will premiere on Discovery Networks International’s portfolio of factual and lifestyle networks in more than 220 countries and territories beginning in late July.
BODY BIZARRE season four, a 10×60’ series, will unearth dozens of brand-new, astonishing medical conditions, and allow viewers to join patients on their journeys. From Bangladesh to Madagascar to Brazil, this season features amazing stories spanning more than 20 different countries.
Working with world-renowned doctors, experts and organizations, each individual, some of whom are fighting for their lives, will share first-hand accounts of their experiences. The series provides unprecedented access to these individuals as they undergo major transformations, with treatments ranging from multiple surgeries to new drugs and medication, and even unconventional therapies.
From a man with a tumor bigger than his head to a boy who has a third arm, the series gives viewers never-before-seen access to previously unknown and bizarre medical stories.
