FX has wielded the axe on Louis C.K. but spared his shows, following the comedian’s admission of sexual misconduct.
Better Things, Baskets and One Mississippi will — as things stand — continue without Louis C.K., the cabler has confirmed:
“Today, FX Networks and FX Productions are ending our association with Louis C.K. We are cancelling the overall deal between FX Productions and his production company, Pig Newton. He will no longer serve as executive producer or receive compensation on any of the four shows we were producing with him – Better Things, Baskets, One Mississippi and The Cops.
Better Things and Baskets will air their third seasons in 2018, with Amazon’s One Mississippi still chasing a third season renewal of its own.
The Cops, which was due to bow in 2018, has in fact fallen, with TBS cancelling the comedy ahead of premiere.
