Prime Video Releases Trailer for Australian Original Docu-series ‘Dance Life’
The five-part series, which will release exclusively on Prime Video globally on January 19, follows a select group of students throughout their final make-or-break year at Australia’s elite dance Studio, Brent Street.

Today, Prime Video released the trailer for upcoming Australian Original docu-series Dance Life. The five-part series, which will release exclusively on Prime Video globally on January 19, follows a select group of students throughout their final make-or-break year at Australia’s elite dance Studio, Brent Street.
Bringing with them a lifetime of dance, students arrive at Brent Street are single-minded in their ambition to become working dancers and stars. It won’t be easy. To make it through the year, they will need stamina and tenacity as they work tirelessly towards the year-end Grad performance. It’s there they hope to secure that all-important agent who could make their dreams of becoming a professional dancer come true. From perfectionists to prodigies, and underdogs to the entitled, each has their own inner voice of doubt battling against an insatiable drive to make it.
Dance Life is produced by Amazon Studios in collaboration with EQ Media, Biscuit Tin Productions, and Creative Bubble Productions. It’s created and produced by Jade Barnes and Luke Cornish. Cornish also writes and directs. Executive producers are Shahn Devendran, Jade Barnes, Luke Cornish, David Alrich, and Brendan Dahill.

About Creative Bubble
After a successful career as a professional dancer, Jade Dearie-Barnes was the owner and Principal of dance studio, Planetdance for 18 years. Her students have danced with superstars like Beyoncé, become part of iconic groups like ‘Hi-5’ and starred in a vast array of musicals including, ‘The Lion King’, ‘School of Rock’, ‘Matilda’ and ‘Billy Elliot.’ During this time Jade also worked in the creative team for the, ‘Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler Australian Tour’ and the, ‘Young Talent Time National Tour’.
She began her career in TV as a resident choreographer for Nickelodeon on shows like ‘Slimefest’ and ‘Play Along with Sam’. Jade has also worked on the production team for shows involving dance for Channel 10, Channel 9, Disney and ABC.
Working as a producer, songwriter and choreographer Jade and her partners transformed the original dance program, ‘Ready Set Dance’ into a series for Nickelodeon that now airs in 120 countries and is dubbed in over 25 languages. The program is also licensed to 250 dance studios throughout Australia and New Zealand. Jade and her team won the prestigious national title of, ‘AusMumpreneur of the Year’ in 2020. Jade established Creative Bubble Productions in 2021 with a passion to provide a platform for the incredible dance talent in Australia.
