Who’s Doing the Dishes? returns for a second helping
ITV Daytime today announced the recommission of ITV Studios Entertainment series, Who’s Doing the Dishes? presented by Brian McFadden. The second series – which is 30×60’ – will air later this year on ITV.
Over the course of a week, four contributors have to guess which celebrity’s house they are dining in each day. The mystery host will cook up a three course meal and diners are given clues throughout the meal to guess which VIP is cooking them dinner.
Watching from a monitor in the kitchen, the celebrity host can see the feedback on their food – both positive and negative – and the diners will have to work as a team to guess who their host is. Get it right and they’ll win a cash prize to go into a collective pot whilst the celeb gets their marigolds on; get it wrong and they’ll be doing the dishes!
Executive Producer for ITV Studios Entertainment, Katie Rawcliffe, said: “We are delighted Who’s Doing the Dishes has been recommissioned by Helen Warner and her team, and that it has become a returnable brand for ITV Studios. But most importantly we are looking forward to Brian McFadden stirring up a feast of delights in more celebrity homes as the diners guess who is cooking their dinner.”
Who’s Doing the Dishes is an ITV Studios Entertainment Production for ITV Daytime. It was commissioned by ITV Director of Daytime Helen Warner and ITV Commissioning Editors Jane Beacon and Clare Ely. Helen Dower and Katie Rawcliffe are the Executive Producers and Jon Durbridge is the series producer, both for ITV Studios Entertainment.
