Showtime chief David Nevins has explained the decision to cancel White Famous after a single season.
Speaking at today’s Television Critics Association, Nevins noted that “voice matters” when it comes to the network’s cancel/renew decisions, adding that:
“Ultimately, we believed [White Famous] was a show that was not going to move the needle in the future”.
