Vikings ending? Creator Michael Hirst is “pretty sure” Vikings can continue into Seasons 6 and 7, which could ultimately conclude the History drama series on its own terms, per Variety:
Honestly, I think people did think when Travis died everything would change and yet on we went, the machine went on, we had so many great new actors. I’m pretty sure we can go on for another two seasons. I’m just writing the last two episodes of Season 5. I could tell you things that would blow your mind — things we’ve shot in Season 5 are amazing. I think we will be able to end the show the way we intended to.
As known, Vikings is already renewed through Season 5 (20 episodes), to release later in 2017.
Will Vikings get its coveted sixth and seventh season renewals? Will the History drama end on its own terms with Season 7? Could it yet move forward into Season 8? Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the survival status of History’s Vikings…

Vikings–Best Show Ever. Can’t wait to see Ivar, the boneless one & Bjorn go at it. Those 2 were really their Fathers sons. If this show follows history (as I think it will) it will be awesome!
