The View has yet to be cancelled or renewed for Season 21, but if the talk show does survive the reaper’s axe for a 2017-18 run, it will likely be without co-host Whoopi Goldberg, Variety reports:
Goldberg appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show” Friday, in which she revealed she would most likely not return to “The View” for its 21st season.
“So in September, when everyone comes back for the new season, you might not be there.” Williams probed.
“No, probably not,” Goldberg said off-hand. “I have to [move on], baby, because I have to go and grow. I got stuff to do, I got movies I need to direct, I got books I got to finish.”
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the status of The View Season 21 renewal…
Elaine says
Without Whoopee and Joy Behar, the show might actually be good. I would never watch but others could. Personally I hope ABC does not renew the show
Sandy says
I agree will not watch this show again, unless Whoopi and Joy are gone they take over the table, and yell and scream if the other ladies don’t have the same view as theirs
Jill Pearson says
I stopped watching earlier this season, and only watch if I see they’re doing a “View Your Deal” on Monday. I then tune in for the last 15 minutes. I just can’t take the screaming over each other, and the far Left bent of the program. Used to be different views, not any more. The one woman who has a differing opinion is never able to finish a sentence. If Whoopi and Joy left, ii would try watching again.
