The true crime series’ third season will span 12 hour-long episodes, slated for an early 2017 premiere.
Describing the series as an “ID fan favorite,” group president Henry Schleiff said of the renewal:
“Over the past few years, we’ve had the opportunity to showcase the very best of Vanity Fair’s quintessential investigative journalism — and we look forward to another season of captivating our audience with some of the nation’s most harrowing crimes and mysteries.”
True Entertainment co-CEO and series EP Steven Weinstock, added:
“We’ve hardly scratched the surface of Vanity Fair’s arsenal of gripping investigative features. Throughout the past two seasons, we’ve spotlighted some of the most gripping stories ever printed, and we’re proud to continue bringing these powerful pieces to viewers through our collaboration with ID and Condé Nast.”
