The Purge will not be back for a third season on the cable channel as viewership waned in the second season.
Treadstone, based on the popular Bourne movie franchise, has been cancelled after just a single season.
The cancellations come as part of an overall shift to more unscripted programming.

“The cancellations come as part of an overall shift to more unscripted programming.” Don’t you mean the dumbing down of what people can watch, more and more of these senseless unthinking reality shows. I guess it is just because there are no longer any truly good script writers out there with original ideas, hence the remakes of classic movies and tv shows that never needed a remake to begin with.
