I can’t believe that ABC is so blind and foolish to let go of such an amazing show! Now many if the cast has moved on and won’t return for season 8 that would’ve been renewed too late. I don’t think I’m going to be watching anything on ABC anymore. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!

Most good shows last only 7 or 8 seasons. I hate when they run the good shows into the ground… a good example is “Modern Family”. It has lost its originality. It hasn’t kept up with the times. The dialog is sappy and it’s no longer funny. It should have ended 2 seasons ago.

Not true how long did Friends run and how long has Big Bang Theory, NCIS been on. They aren’t taking the risks anymore like they use to and I don’t get that anymore! It seems like they are chicken nowadays! Get new writers on board if they run out of ideas! Do something to keep the story going I mean you still have many stories to explore yet!

This latest rendition of “Once” is stupid. The acting is second rate and the characters are predictable. It should have ended when Henry went through the portal to look for his adventure. That would have been a really nice ending without actually seeing what his adventure was.
On your comments regarding NCIS, it HAS gotten a lot of mileage. Whether it is good or bad… there is discourse even in my household on that issue. Regarding Big Bang, I know it has been on a long time but I have only watched it on occasion when someone else had it on. I understand there is a spinoff from that show, so SOMEONE is watching it.
But back to “Once”… I think it is time for it to end. It makes sense. I loved Grimm also but agreed that the show had run its course and saw its end.

I have loved this show from episode one (and I’m 67, so no kid). I did find this season’s final battle bittersweet as it was obvious the show was going in a totally new direction and I would miss my favorite characters. But the originality and creativity of this show has been a pure joy. To quote from the Winnie the Pooh philosophy, “Don’t be sad it’s over. Be glad it was.” And I truly am!

The woman that played Emma was leaving at the end of this season they where talking about a reboot as you seen that the end where her son is now grown up but the network decided not to take the chance and I am glad a lot of times when a main character leaves it does not work, look Vampire Diaries and X files for examples

Well I’m surprised it didn’t end this year, seeing that everything wrapped itself up. Still sorry to see it go.

I think the only fairy tale characters they missed out was the dancing mop and bucket from Fantasia…
it had come to its natural conclusion and I am not feeling any love for s7 up to now.

they need to make season 8 because emma swan is pregnant with hook’s child (s7 ep2) and emma told herny “you can’t come back to storybrooke til you find your story.” so… ABC is just going to leave us hanging?

ABC is the worst about cancelling good programs. They do it all of the time.

Seriously??? TV keeps mindless shows like the Crapdasians but not good, imagination stimulating shows like Once Upon a Time?? This ALWAYS happens to the good shows – S.O.B. – No wonder people are dropping cable TV and just opting to watch TV a la carte these days.

We definitely need more original shows and fewer non-scripted shows. That’s what you get when the writers go on an extended strike. The gaps are filled in with un-“reality” shows. Time to stop watching TV and read a book!

Finally! I just could not get invested or feel for the new folks as I had with the original cast. Such a stretch!

a mexican Cinderella?? give me a break… and the little girl is a horrible actress!! And the spanish Cinderella just is not believable as being Cinderella..to take the cast and dump them in a city like this was a really abd idea.in fact there’s Agenda written all over the idea and watching the show now it becomes very obvious..the writers it seems were attempting to attract a lot more people to the show by including versatility in every manner and form which just is not working!!! Agenda has ruined the show imo..Storybrook should have remained the central location..why did the writers gfeel they had to add ‘mixed ‘relationships and diversity that pretty much made what once was a well organised and together show seem very awkward and totally different in it’s usual structure..they shuld have continued to build on the original story using Storybrook but adding more characters and circumstances..they could ahve done this with talented writers..i read a while back that the old storyline is what was dropping the ratings, but good writers could have upped the viewership and kept the whole thing going..Their Agenda(at diversity and interracial relationships and fairytale characters that originally were NOT black or spanish )killed the show and clearly showed that Agenda is more important to the writers than story content.. There are still ways to fix that but it won’t happen..I miss the way the show was before season 8..it will sorely be missed.it was my favorite of any that i watch now..and i really miss the relationship between Hook and Emma..I think getting rid of Emma was one thing among many that killed off the show… it could have survived with a few changes….but i guess the writers didn’t feel it’s worth it..it’s just money to them..to the viewers it’s emotional both mentally and emotionally..especially when a certain show has become familiar and characters like family..many of us viewers get that attached to these shows, especially us single people.
