NBC will make a final decision on whether to renew or cancel Undateable (and its other summer comedies, Welcome To Sweden and Working The Engels) “in the next few weeks,” the network’s execs said at today’s TCA press tour.

NBC would be nuts (not in a good way) to not to renew UNDATEABLE. It is so funny that it is the only show that made me send comments to renew it. I never did that before.

I agree. UNDATEABLE is the funniest comedy in years….I like it better than Big Bang Theory, and it has the chemistry of Friends with the laugh out loud moments of Seinfeld. NBC must renew, and put it on in your main season!!!

Undateable is hilarious. NBC already made one mistake by cancelling #meetthefishers. Cancelling Undateable might make me get cable back!

I, too, have never submitted a comment online to renew a show. Despite never (almost?) airing a new episode of Hollywood Game Night as its lead in, despite airing two eps. every week, despite it being opposite NBA play-offs and airing three new eps. the day before a holiday, UNDATEABLE still did pretty well. (I, myself, watched one episode live each week and taped another. I saw no reason I HAD to double dose. I still have one left to view!) I haven’t been interested in a new sitcom for several years. This one makes me laugh. Give it a fair shake, NBC. I noticed today that critics, according to Rotten Tomatoes, weren’t overly kind to this show, but the public rating for it is listed at 89%. So, NBC? Listen to the public!

I LOVE this show! I’m praying it isn’t canceled. It definitely reminds me of Friends, and we all know that show did alright. 😉 I am still sad Whitney was canceled but at least he has a new gig (hopefully!) on Undateable. It’s odd because it has a Whitney feel to it though. Oh well! Please RENEW, NBC!

Undateable is funny, BUT it’s nothing like Friends! The comedy seems forced, and when it’s funny, you can tell the actors are trying not to laugh. They do a very poor job of acting. A good actor knows it’s funny, but maintains character throughout. I’d like to see the show renewed, but ONLY if a new director takes the helm and fixes the forced/out of character bits that linger in the show week after week. When a character is saying a funny line, that’s not supposed to be funny for them, they shouldn’t be grinning!
