Uncle Cancelled By BBC Three – No Series 4

BBC Three has cancelled Uncle after its upcoming third series. The sitcom will not return for Series 4.

Actor Con O’Neill spilled the cancellation beans to Digital Spy:

“That’s it, and it is time to go. Three seasons tend to be the right lifespan.

I thought [O’Neill’s Channel 4 series] Cucumber being a one-off was a joy. I like to tick a box and walk away. They do it to death in America and it doesn’t benefit anyone, I don’t think.”

The seven-episode third and final series of Uncle is slated to air later this year.
