NBC is canceling the third hour of “Today” to make way for new star Megyn Kelly, sources exclusively confirm to Page Six.
We’re told Kelly will take over either the 9 a.m. hour from Tamron Hall and Al Roker or will replace Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.

The network intends to launch a new daytime show featuring Kelly, the former Fox News primetime anchor who rose to fame by using her experience as an attorney to grill her guests, by fall, according to a person familiar with the matter. Kelly is expected to join NBC News formally in May, this person said. She left Fox News Channel after wrapping a January 6 broadcast of her program there,”The Kelly File.”
NBC has yet to decide upon a timeslot for the program, this person said, but is focusing most intently on either 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. That means NBC could be willing to pre-empt an hour it currently devotes to its long-running morning franchise, “Today,” to make room for Kelly’s show.

I am really upset that Tamron is not going to be on the show and that you replaced her with Megan Kelly. Well this is the second time u guys screwed up. First one being Ann Curry. I have been watching the today show for over 25 years. You can bet that I will be changing stations. Don’t like what you did!!!,
