FOX will use a ‘day and date’ release strategy to boost the reach of The X-Files revival.
With an 11th season already riding on domestic and global response (ratings/revenue), Fox International Channels will air the 6-episode 10th season across more than 60 countries immediately following the January 24 premiere on FOX, Deadline reports:
The series will return as part of a two-night special event across all licensed territories within the international Fox portfolio starting on January 25th, and will reach audiences throughout Latin America, South East Asia and select markets in Europe including Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain as well as Turkey and Africa.
