The end could be near for The Good Wife, following confirmation from CBS that series showrunners Robert and Michelle King will not return for Season 8, if it is picked up.
For his part, CBS president Glenn Geller says a decision on future seasons hasn’t been made, but insists “the show can absolutely continue without the Kings.”
Even so, the news has put the Cancellation Reaper on red alert.
