Freeform has cancelled Switched At Birth after its upcoming fifth season, RenewCancelTV has confirmed. The cabler has decided not to continue the family drama into Season 6.
Series creator Lizzy Weiss announced the cancellation today via Twitter:
This season of #SwitchedatBirth will be our final one. We are ending the show after an amazing 103 episodes with pride, love, and gratitude.

The 10-episode fifth and final season (which will air in 2017) will see the series reach 103 episodes before falling into the arms of the Cancellation Reaper.
RIP.

I really enjoy this show. Even though the initial plot has run its course, (switched) it should still go on with the family.
