We enjoyed Mr Whitcher so disappointed that yet another one of our favourite shows has been axed, we also enjoyed Home Fires, yet so much crap is shown ie Love Island, why cant we have quality shows on instead of vacuous wannabies

Yes. Why is an excellent show such Mr. Whicher cancelled? I just found it and have enjoyed it and now it’s gone. I’ve watched the epsiodes over several times and was awaiting more. Wow!!!!! I’m disappointed. Maybe a reconsideration for other episodes could be done. The plots and acting were excellent!!!!! The sweet beginning of love. So tender. I love Mr. Whicher’s expressions. Excellent!!!!!

We have just found Mr. Wicher Suspiscions and are enjoying it. Why would such a good show be cancelled? Does the TV industry have no taste?! I agree with comment made on July 30, 2020. Excellent plots, excellent acting.
Beverly Monks says
I totally agree with the last two comments. I watched these shows when they were first broadcast and watched them again this week – they were excellent so what is the problem? They provoked the era perfectly and the stories were captivating – very sad no more were filmed.
