CBS has ordered a back episodic order for Supergirl.
Per Deadline, the network has given an additional 7-episode pick-up to the superhero drama, taking its freshman run to 20 episodes.
While short of the full 22-episode quota that is often a strong vote of renewal confidence, Supergirl did start later than many of its rivals and CBS are nevertheless viewing the 20-episode pick-up as a ‘full-season’.
As such, Supergirl can take the order as a ‘boost’ to its long-term survival hopes.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the status of Supergirl Season 2…

ATTN: SPOILER ALERT:
Please don’t take to show off the air!!!!
it’s the most original one I have seen in years and its nice to have a female superhero women can relate too girl power! Also both Melissa Benoist and Calista Flockhart have a certain sense in common they are bound to each other in more ways thank you think. Now that cat knows who Kara is I’m more interested to
Find out where there friendship will go so as one faithful viewer to a CBS executive plz leave Supergirl alone she has a good spot where she is
Thanks

C’mon Supergirl, don’t let the Netflix explosion and Nielsen ratings and twitter TV ratings and no Golden Globe Awards nominations get you cancelled after only one season in a stunning upset like Sarah Michelle Gellar’s last TV show “The Crazy Ones” suffered stunningly 2 years ago! I LOVE YOU!
