On the eve of the Season 2 finale, Stitchers star Emma Ishta tells Pop City Life that a third season is needed as the story hasn’t reached the end of the line:
We do work incredibly hard and everybody does really pour their heart into it. Each season we try to look back at what we did and grow and learn from it. And I think the characters have a story to tell, and the story’s not quite done yet.
With the show’s future uncertain, Ishta reveals that alternate endings have been filmed:
[The Season 2 finale] is shocking! Very emotional. And I think each character comes to the climactic point of their dramatic journey in this finale. Also, we shot two separate endings and I don’t even know which one they’re going to use, so watch to see what the ending is! I’ve heard that it’s one thing, but they could’ve changed it – who knows!
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the status of Stitchers Season 3…

this last episode of season 2 finished very complicated. We don’t know anything now about her father and now her mother is alive as well. Do her father and mother work together so many questions now and is that cameron boy who is showing her everything her father and mother or only one of them. It is nothing explained about her parents at all and it was saying in this episode that her father was working on something big and then he dissapeared, did he brought her mother to life or what is the real story about all this. Also does NIS are killing all this people and why??
We really need season 3 but we’ll probably need about 15 episodes to explain all this.. So many questions and no real answers….

It didn’t have the ending like a series finale. More like a season finale. Too many unanswered questions about her parents. If it does get renewed, hopefully it will be for more than 10 episodes…since this show has ridiculously short seasons.

I agree there are not enough episodes in a season… just as soon as it begins it seems to have ended. You have created so many sub stories that you don’t allow yourself enough time to tell the story. On a personal note… although I like the concept of Kirsten Clark’s New Stitcher gear, I found her completely irresistible in her season 1 outfit. I think there’s a compromise in there. 🙂

I agree that this third season should have more episodes,at least 15-20 and more answers about her father and therefore we need season 3
