THESE PEOPLE WOULD NOT KNOW A GOOD T.V. SHOW IF IT BIT THEM IN THE ASS !!!!!!!

I totally agree! ABC DO NOT KNOW GOOD intertainment if it hit them over their head with a baseball bat.

I agree with all comments. I so enjoyed that time era. It was exciting, interesting, beautiful with a cast with abundant talent. PLEASE reconsider, otherwise I will watch National Geo. Wild as animals are better than most programming!!!!

Why ABC do you put things on in the summer and expect high ratings with no advertising and people out of town. Who the hell is running your programming? This isn’t the only great show you have trashed recently. I would get some new people in programming or sellyou business and close. You aren’t helping your viewing audience in the least.

Not at all surprised!!!! After 2, yes 2 episodes you’re cancelling???????? Give it a chance, will ya? But be sure to keep the STUPID, REPETITIVE MYRAD OF MUSIC, DANCING, GAME, REALITY shows that PLAGUE our TV channels 24/7…..UGH

I was really just getting into that show! Yeah, ABC probably needed more room for a reality show of some sort. There is a reason that I do not watch ABC very often and this is a prime example of it. They kill a beautiful and different sort of show before it has a chance to gain followers. What a shame!

I agree with all the comments that were made.Apparently ABC are SIILL STAR-CROSSED on what to keep on their network. I believe Shonda Rhimes has proven her capabilities as a director and this one was just another. The actors she has chosen for the characters were strong and I just Love this era. This show was the only one I would check for new episodes on HULU.. Maybe HULU can pick this up as THEIR ORIGINAL

I am so sick and tired! of sitting down to watch a NEW show, only to see it cancelled after 2 episodes! I have had it! NO MORE will I waste time on investing my time on something new, no matter how good the trailers portray it to be. Reruns will fill my tv time slots from now on!

Is it the stations that don’t know what’s good anymore or has culture left most Americans, I couldn’t even get my teenagers to sit and watch it and I am sure there are a lot who heard “Romeo and Juliet”and didn’t give it a shot. Well I protest, you still have time to change your mind. Renew it.

ARE THESE PROGRAMMERS OUT OF THEIR IDIOTIC MINDS!!! THIS SHOW IS EXCELLENT!! I am not necessarily a fan of Shakespeare, but after the 1st episode, the fast pace, the excellent acting, the drama, the suspense, the overall “RUSH” of watching this show, they absolutely MUST renew it! I have never, ever, ever, waited a whole week in suspense just to see the next episode! I want Rosaline to end up with Benvolio! The ONLY mistake this new show made was the stupid title- yes, it may be related to the plots, but average people sometimes pass by shows on title alone (ie; Scandal, Lucifer, Seal-Team, Lethal Weapon, 24, etc, etc.) if I was going to pick watching a show by looking at the listings and all I saw was this title, , then I might skip too.
The ratings for idiotic reality TV shows nowadays, just proves the decline in intelligence and culture of society today. Keeping exciting fast paced dramas with even a “touch” of historical content should also be offered on free TV.

Wow, I, am old, single, divorced.. I, enjoyed this show.. the first episode or 2 were not a good as they could have been, I, blame the Director for not giving the Cast better Directions.. from episode 3 on.. I really enjoyed it.. I, enjoyed the sets, scenery and the architecture.. but as usual the Head Dudes at ABC were thinking with a supposed mentality of I, know what is good viewing… *not* Too bad their is not a better way to figure out what a good show is.. maybe they can read a book that gives them the answer.
