“Steven Universe” Returns for Five-Night Event Monday, July 2 on Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network’s multiple Emmy and GLAAD Award-nominated Steven Universe returns Monday, July 2 at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT), with new episodes airing all week at 7:30 p.m. through Friday, July 6. The five-episode arc, “Heart of the Crystal Gems,” comes on the heels of “A Single Pale Rose,” which left fans reeling from the revelations about the Crystal Gems’ former leader, Rose Quartz. In the five-night event, when the Gems fall apart after new information about Rose Quartz has come to light, it’s up to Steven to bring the team back together.
Steven Universe is ending soon, with the quietly cancelled series set to conclude with its series finale in 2019-20.
While the show has been cancelled, it’s not yet clear whether Cartoon Network will divide the final episodes into a Season 6 or 7.

Do you have any prove of this? cuz even if season 6 hasn’t been announced, it’s clear the show still isn’t at the end. Even after the big spoilers (i haven’t seen) the crew said there is even more surprises to come. and even if it ends at 2020, there’s a difference between “end date confirmed” and “canceled” was Doctor Who in 1989 and end date for example is Harry Potter book 7.
