Netflix has renewed Santa Clarita Diet for Season 2, to release early 2018.
With seconds confirmed, Santa Clarita Diet is already eyeing a third dish, with plans to go beyond its current order into Season 3.

I agree with the rest of the comments on YouTube: This is a Year Announcement; 2018 is not a date! Trump may think 2018 is a date; the rest if us know it’s a year!
In April 2017, it’s hard to get anticipatory and excited about something that’s going to happen sometime between 270 and 635 days from now!!!
Netflix: I’m glad you renewed this series for a second season, really, but without a legitimate “DATE”, the announcement is somewhat shallow!

I’m so pleased there’s going to be a season 2. Found the series great: very funny, zany. Loved the crazy plots. Found all the main characters added to the result of its extremely creative writer.
