UPDATE: ABC has responded to Barr’s racist tweet by cancelling the series. The sitcom will not return for its previously-planned second season.

Roseanne cancelled? Season 10 renewal reversed?
Consulting producer Wanda Sykes has exited Roseanne Season 10 (2nd season revival) in the wake of Roseanne Barr‘s racist tweet about former President Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.

In the since deleted tweet, Barr said in reference to Jarrett “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby”.
The cancellation reaper is monitoring events, however, ABC has yet to respond to Barr’s tweet.
Will ABC reverse Roseanne’s 10th season renewal, sending it to cancellation hell, or continue with Season 10 as planned? Stay tuned..
