ABC has responded. The network has cancelled Roseanne after one revived season, and ten in total, in response to Roseanne Barr‘s racist tweet.
ABC chief Channing Dungey said:
“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

Prior to today’s turnaround, Roseanne was renewed for Season 11 (second revived season) to premiere this fall.
The reaper has now buried the show without ceremony. No RIP.
Will Roseanne‘s reversal open up space for one of ABC’s previously-cancelled sitcoms/shows? Stay tuned…
