Could Revolution be saved by another network?
NBC cancelled the sci-fi drama on May 9 as it cleaned house ahead of the new season.
With the show’s producers hoping for a third season and an established (if relatively small) fanbase behind it, there was always going to be talk of Revolution finding a new home, even though the chances appear slim.
Speaking on Facebook, executive producer Jon Favreau lamented the cancellation of the drama and revealed that he’d discussed with series creator Eric Kripke the possibility of continuing the drama elsewhere, although it’s currently unclear whether this will be pursued.
Spoke to Eric Kripke about Revolution being cancelled by NBC. He’s not on social media and I told him how many messages I’ve been receiving from disappointed fans. I explained that many of you would like him to consider finding a new home for the show.
I asked Eric if he had anything to pass along to the fans of the show. He said to convey that he was disappointed, but extremely grateful for your support.
Would you like to see Revolution continue on another network, or are two seasons enough?
