News comes courtesy of this weekend’s LA Comic Con event, where Quantum Leap’s creator, Donald Bellisario, reunited with Scott Bakula during a panel discussion that inevitably turned to reboots.
“I just finished writing a Quantum Leap feature,” Bellisario announced. “I don’t know what’s going to happen with it, but I did write it.”

That was a good show. And bring back “Wild, wild, west” too. And, “Simon and Simon”. I loved those two shows!

I would watch it, if they do I hope they use the same people.

As they’re older, how about letting us know where Scott’s character, et al, ended up? It was all a bit ‘up in the air’ at the end. And, being really honest with you, it lost the plot towards the end of the series. Still, depending on who’s in the movie and what it’s about, I’d probably give it a watch.
Liz says
I would watch either the movie or series. Loved it. And they do better revive old shows lately.

I love any show that Scott does so if he is in it I would watch it. I agree with Caz I would like to know where Scott’s character ended up, did he get back to his original time? It would be nice if they were able to reunite the original main characters also. Please give it a try.
Sher says
Oh heck yes! I loved this show!

Truly a one of the better sci-fi shows that was on at the time. Re-booting this would be a disaster. Why not just let it die in peace. I would rather remember the show as it was and not try to remake the story.
If Donald Bellisario is serious about the project, get new characters and run in a different direction. But honestly, i think it should rest in peace.
