Project Mc2 Premieres on Netflix this Summer with Two New Seasons
Beverly Hills, Calif. April 6, 2016 – Netflix announced today that two new seasons of the Daytime Emmy nominated series Project Mc2 will come to the service, showing girls around the world that Smart is the New CoolTM. Season 2 will premiere worldwide Friday, August 12, followed by Season 3, which will be available in fall 2016.
This week, Netflix in conjunction with the White House Council on Women & Girls and the U.S. Dept. of Education is reminding all females how they can own their smarts and be super cool while doing it, just like McKeyla, Adrienne, Bryden and Camryn of Project Mc2. At a conference focused on Helping our Children Explore, Learn and Dream without Limits: Breaking Down Gender Stereotypes in Media and Toys; Netflix announced they will partner with a leading youth organization in the US to create interactive show screening experiences and online discovery kits encouraging young girls to unlock their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) potential.
