No shred of renewal hope was offered by CBS at today’s TCA – the network might not be saying it, but as it stands Person Of Interest remains cancelled.
The only positive for fans is confirmation that the fifth and final season (at least on CBS) will air in the spring.
No decision has been made about future #PersonOfInterest seasons. #TCA16

While there’s technically “no word” on the fate of #PersonOfInterest, Geller’s complete and utter lack of support says all you need. Done.

#POI finale could function as a season and series finale, Geller says #TCA16

Don’t kill the messenger #PersonOfInterest fans: CBS has given *all the signs* that the show is done. No tea leaves needed. No mystery left.

Great show with people doing good for the world. It is our favorite, we record it weekly due to the time.
Joe Rivera says
Person of Interest is a excellent series I wish wasn’t your losing a great fan base.
Jamaal Grantham says
J.J. Abrams sucks for cancelling this show…one of the best shows out there. Maybe he should have never killed off Taraji Henson (Carter). Miss it already….

Good programs never last. The crappy ones get renewed. No wonder viewers are forced to watch reruns elsewhere or take up reading books, Netflix, etc. Reality shows suck.
Rick Robinson says
So discerning viewers (a rarity) will be left with continuing B.S. Think “my 600 # life”
Pamela says
Love this show it sucks if its canceled. Only watch through Netflix but have been watching for weeks every night and on season 4 now.
Alan says
WOW. This has to be one of the worst decisions that CBS has ever made. Person of Interest is by far one of, if not the best show they had on. It was one of the very few shows on network television that was worth watching. Now we rarely watch any network television. All network executives are so out of touch with their fan base it is pathetic.
Ken says
With all the hype CBS made about “Person of Interest” to be a hit show before it premiered – which it was… they need to show the same amount of support to the fans (who supported the show by watching it), by at least having a complete, final season that wraps-up loose ends and has the characters – including the machine – have a good ending!
PjJns says
Oh man! J.J. Abrams you could have done so much more with this show, but nooooooo! First T.P. Henson was killed off too soon, developing her story could have been an additional season. The original machine should have been strong enough to finish it’s own development and by the time the other machine came on line it should have been able to at least do battle, that could have been sustainable for two more seasons. Then there’s Root, she alone could have been three more seasons! I hope someone can see a little better and have a change of mind.

Good idea, think I will leave a comment on the CBS website.

Too bad they don’t dump some of the real trashy stuff like the half nude brains and brawn nonsense.
Abrams11 says
his is a great show thy need to move it back to Thursdays and get rid of those crappy shitcoms like Life in Pieces and the big bang theory Mom and so on.
