Penny Dreadful is cancelled/ended at Showtime, but could there be a spinoff series?
Speaking to THR, network president David Nevins refused to rule out the possibility of a Penny Dreadful spinoff at some point in the future, though nothing is planned at the moment:
John [Logan] and I talked about various possibilities. But it didn’t go for long. He was resolute that this is the right time. [As for spinoffs], anything is possible at any time. We’re staying close to John [who has an overall deal with Showtime] — he’s deep into Just Kids with Patti Smith, which is going to be amazing. It’s going to be really singular and an interesting relationship with two great characters at the center of it.
We’ll monitor the TV multiverse for any signs of a Penny Dreadful spinoff…

How can Showtime cancel a brilliant show like this?? It’s a crime. All fans of Penny please unite and demand that Showtime or another network bring it back. Why did they cancel? There is no good reason other than the fact that Showtime did not promote the show enough. Please help me.

I agree this show is amazing!! There is time to rewrite this wrong. Now that Vanessa has died Frankenstein and his new bestie Jekyl can bring her back. She has seen the Lord. He will bring her back as a demon fighter with her man Ethan by her side and her new demon fighting crew there will be no stopping them. The other characters of the show also have so many stories that need to be told!! Please reconsider

Just ran across this series and was pleasantly surprised. Great acting , interesting storyline and cast, and exquisite sets. Showtime made a big mistake, robbing subscribers of a great show.
