The Originals Season 6 cancelled? As expected, The CW has slashed the supernatural drama’s upcoming fifth season to just 13 episodes, down from its usual 22 full-season order, writer Carina MacKenzie has confirmed:

The Originals Season 5 will be held for midseason 2018.
