Not safe from cancellation. Comedy Central has axed Not Safe with Nikki Glaser after one season. Per Deadline, the network has opted not to renew for Season 2:
Comedy Central has opted not to pick up a second season of sex-themed talk show Not Safe with Nikki Glaser while exploring other opportunities to continue to work with Glaser. The comedian alluded to the news backstage at Chelsea Handler’s Netflix talker Chelsea where she was guest on the latest episode, released today.
The show was originally picked up for 10 episodes and premiered in February. Its freshman run was later extended to 20 episodes with a second 10-episode order. The second batch of episodes aired over the summer.
RIP.

Too bad. I liked this… the tinder/snap (or whatever) chats were hilarious! Kayla, and the mind that came up with her, deserves an outlet!

Both amusing and informative, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser was one of the few shows I really looked forward to watching. Nikki was the perfect host. She made the show click. What a shame it was cancelled. I hope the show wasn’t axed because the subject matter was “too controversial.”

Boooooo! Look, you’re never going to find interviews with parents better than Nikki’s. Again I say, boooooo!

I know why it was cancelled. It was an amazing show when she stuck to what the shows subject matter but she started to think that the show was there as a podium for her to voice her political opinions on the election. We were getting enough of that from people who actually knew what they were talking about! I loved it at the beginning but when that happened I started fast forwarding through half of the show.
