May 11, 2015 – CBS renews NCIS for Season 13, ensuring the veteran procedural continues through 2016.
March 25, 2015 – Exec producer Gary Glasberg confirms that NCIS Season 12 will end on a sort of cliffhanger, therefore increasing the need for a 13th season pick-up.
October 14, 2014 – UK broadcaster Channel 5 bags rights to future seasons of NCIS, enhancing the show’s international reach and viability ahead of a Season 13 renewal decision.

If you cancel this show you will see a huge decline in viewers that you did not think of when you do. I watch reruns and DO NOT miss the new ones. This is the biggest running show in forever. I do not think you will ever have another one like it. I for one will not be on you channel near as often. I will just watch the reruns.

I would hate to see it cancelled also…but NO it’s not the longest running…Criminal Minds is…which is another outstanding show…One of My Favorite…then Supernatural needs to be renewed also…been 10 years running

Criminal minds has just finished season 10 and NCIS season 12. Hence NCIS is the longest running season out of the 2.

Ncis is like a family I would give my life up for these people, Its a huge part of my life it also inspires lots of people to be good and even willing to become a us/uk marine so please do not cancel it I don’t know what I would do without this show

NO, don’t cancel this show! It’s the best show on TV. Love the characters and the actors/actresses. It’s always interesting and keeps you watching till the end as you never quite know “who did it” till the end. Unlike another show wherein the bad guy is shown in the first five minutes, it becomes boring real fast. The suspense on NCIS is what keeps us coming back. NCIS has characters that interplay well, showing their personal defects but all managed to get along in find the perpetrator(s) in the end.

Don’t cancel Ncis, my family and me absolutely love ncis, it is apart of my life and am a massive fan of the show. I watch it very day I have got season 1 – 11 on dvd.

We have watched every episode of this amazing show. There is a problem now and it lies squarely with the writers and not the actors. The cast have been glued to the same chairs doing the same jobs for 12 years. There have been new faces but always replacements for characters killed off. They need to find a way to move / promote some of the characters so that they rise to new challenges. That tired old open plan office with its AWFUL décor really needs work too. The emphasis on academia was always a mistake and with the latest young egghead has become a real irritation. Lastly, there is too much filming ‘in the office’ and not enough outside where the action is. Fix all this and hire new writers with fresh ideas. Then this show can go on several more years.

I too, hope that NCIS will continue on for a bit longer but as has been mentioned it is time for others to be promoted or do new things. Gibbs should retire or do something different and let Tony take over. I want to see Tony in command as he has proven more than capable in certain episodes. McGee has matured and give him more action out of the office stuff. Bishop has come into her own a bit more this season. There is now a bit of mystery about her. She was the one tracking Benham Parsa and in the last episode we learned that she can speak Arabic. Who knew? How and why does she have middle east connections? We know that as an NSA agent she had some dealings with workings in the middle east. It would be nice to see some storylines with this. And I’m going to stir the pot…Wouldn’t it be interesting if any of Bishop’s middle east stuff ties into Ziva in some way without her knowing it. I was disappointed there wasn’t more of a connection given that the past season’s villain Sergei and Ari Haswari both had the same mother. Anyhow, there should be a way to pick that up again. If the writers could pull some of this off in the next season or two and also reveal what has happened to Ziva. Is she still in Israel or gone somewhere else? What is she doing? Has she met someone that can make her happy? (Yeah, I know a lot of people still hope for TIVA but it would be interesting to see a different take. After all Tony has Zoe now and so far it’s working). That could be done whether Cote comes back or not. I just hope that if GG is planning a major cliffhanger that it doesn’t involve killing off one of the main characters. I guess that time will tell.

They have revealed what happened to Ziva..;Her Father died in Her arms…She was forced to kill Her Half Brother…so She went back to the home she was born in…which Her Family apparently still own…Tony found Her there and tried to talk Her into coming back…but She decided She couldn’t

Wow..I LOVE NCIS…but I’m sorry….it is NOT the Best ever created…as mentioned earlier…there is also Criminal Minds…very realistic…and would be easy to keep it going…also Law and Order SVU…Supernatural…and Bones…another awesome show…important thing here is to STOP cancelling great shows like these…and replacing them with CRAP SHOWS…that nobody likes…

NCIS is an amazing show and cast. I hope they do something more with Bishop, as her client is not as powerful a force or an interesting as Ziva or Kate before. Maybe there is more to her story and she gets tougher, as most women in her role in their team were stronger characters. The writers need to do more with her back story. Also if Gibbs is seeing ghosts of past team members, everytime a major character dies like end of Season 12, maybe we can see a few mores scenes with Shannon and Kelly who were dear to him visiting him, maybe in a near death episode for example. But keep Gibbs alive, as he is always a favourite and core of the group. Writers, think about it!

Please do not cancel NCIS. It is my favorite show on CBS, and I record it every week. Abby will be missed, but I am sure the writers will come up with something very interesting to replace her. The actors may get bored with performing in this series each week, but their fans never get bored with their performances. Please keep all three, NCIS, NCIS New Orleans and NCIS LA. I am 89 years old and I watch all three of them. Thanks.
